headtalkvy started as an internal reference sheet for a regional news studio and grew into a full resource for discussion formats, anchor segments, microphone setup, camera framing, and studio workflows used by teams across the United Kingdom.
Our story
Before headtalkvy existed, our team kept a shared notebook of studio fixes: how to reset a panel discussion set in under five minutes, which microphone pattern rejected air conditioning hum, and where to mark the floor for a clean two-shot.
We turned that notebook into a structured resource so any production team, from campus broadcasters to independent talk shows, can plan a discussion segment with the same confidence as a national newsroom.
